The sexy thing you deserve this Sunday is to get to know the store Shirokuma.
I’ve spent quite some time in the 2nd arrondissement in Paris, especially in a tiny little street away from the crazy noise of the city. In that street there is a bike store, coffee shop and hot dog stand, all in one little store called Shirokuma.
I love the combination of the products and services they sell. While fixing and selling bikes is the main income source of the business, the coffee and hotdogs give the store a complete different vibe. People hang out there or just drop by to get a beverage or a quick snack. It’s fascinating how easily a bike store can become a place for people to meet and hang out.
Also, the store seems really authentic. Maybe it comes from the authenticity of the people that work and hang out there. Maybe it’s the personalities of the people who run the store that is reflected in their products and services. Maybe the store reflects the complexity and different sides a person has and therefore seems more authentic than a store doing one thing only.
I definitely recommend dropping by there if you have the chance and experience it for yourself. I will continue to get my early afternoon coffee from there as long as I can.

I love this place!
It opened up during the pandemic, and it is crazy to think how quickly they created a community around it. Every day you see so many friends, and bikers just hanging out. Truly something incredible.
