The sexy thing you deserve this Sunday is A.bsolument, a store that brings vintage radios back to life by equipping them with the latest technological innovations. They are located in Clermont-Ferrand, a 2 hours drive away from Lyon.

I attended “Le Salon du made in France” Thursday afternoon where I met Arthur the founder of A.bsolument. He told me about his brilliant idea of mixing history, music and technology, turning it into a product in 2013 and ultimately turning the whole endeavour into a company in 2015. How cool is that? The way it works is that the company spends a lot of time trying to find people with old radios, buy them from these people and then start renovating them. The renovation consists of keeping the exterior and look intact while changing the speaker and adding a Bluetooth installation to it.

Now you can listen to Jack Harlow from your Spotify playlist on a real vintage radio. So simple yet so amazing when you experience it. The visual and auditory completely contradict themselves.
