No Optimization This Time
Very often I think about how new insights I’m having, could serve the newsletter’s readers and be of practical use. Right now, I’m spending time exploring neural nets and wanted to write a post about how knobs and data sets and learning and unlearning and more blablablabla can teach us about how to best optimize our lives (or how I like to think about them sometimes: “problem solving journeys”). But then sometimes, it might be better to not be bothered and bored with optimizations and reading a simple message from another person’s experience can have the same or a larger impact.
So here it is:
“[…] without exception, everyone I’ve ever met who is authentic, daring, empathic, tireless and willing to ask for help has gone on to be happy and fulfilled.”
- Christopher Sacca
And if you all do that you might end up like this guy: “a happy and fulfilled human” generated by DALL-E, which is powered by neural nets.
