Making a bookstore feel authentic
I randomly strolled into “Librairie Delamain” in Paris last night and noticed little paper notes on some of the books. The employees had taken the time to write small reviews.
I assume that these employees are naturally passionate about reading and had probably read a bunch of these books outside of work anyways. What a smart way to make their store more authentic, just by making a tiny extra effort.
I’m wondering whether customers should be able to write reviews too. I’m sure many would do it. It might even create a stronger bond between the store and their customers. Maybe I should go back one day and let them know.
