Longing for Togetherness
Togetherness is hidden in plain sight, disguised and rarely recognised. Loneliness is hidden in darkness but felt as intensely as nothing else, and it hurts, it’s pain.
If you could you would peel away the layers of disguise and expose the longing of togetherness. If you could trust what was presented to you, you would recognise togetherness, without experiencing the pain from loneliness.
In your life..
Are you on autopilot following this deep longing and acting on it? You wouldn’t probably know but consider yourself lucky. Are you feeling the pain? Listen and keep searching for clarity and understanding. Have you felt the pain and have recognised its origins? Use your newly acquired insights and strive for togetherness. Have you gone through pain and have come out on the other side? Then you have probably unpeeled the layers and recognised your longing for togetherness. Worship it, nurture it and share it.
Longing for being with other humans makes you human. It hurts cause loneliness sucks and it feels good cause togetherness doesn’t suck. It is consistent through all cultures social classes and no feeling of strength or independence can exclude you from it.
