Friday Night Matters (Working Hours)
In a world where you can make anything, you must make things that matter.
This is the core idea behind The Bougnat. The Bougnat is about ideas for progress, peace, and beauty. Friday Night Working Hours is the next logical step: taking action to turn such ideas into things that matter. Thinking and making belong together. Ideas that never become things stay ideas, and things made without ideas rarely matter. Friday Night Working Hours is where The Bougnat moves from writing and reading to making.
Now, the interesting part. Friday night is when you do what you actually want to do: go out with friends, party, run, play games, watch a movie. Finding people in Geneva who sincerely want to spend that night working hard on something they really care about is not easy (or is it?). But I know they exist. Those people are who Friday Night Working Hours is for.
The criterion is not a specific category of work. It’s a behavioral signal: using your Friday night for work, no pay, no attention. It’s a signal that it matters to you. And if it matters to you, there is a decent chance that it will matter to other people too.
What you get at Friday Night Working Hours is fuel for your project ⛽️: WIFI, food, drinks, people.
What will you be working on? I don’t know. That’s for you to decide. Basically anything. The form is open and the possibilities are infinite.
So here we go. The Bougnat is starting a new chapter: Friday Night Working Hours.
It starts next week. Friday, 24th of April. Flocky La Loutre, 19:00, until you want to go home or party.
